An Author Talk is a chance to get to know me and my story up close and personal. I will share my own history as well as the history surrounding my books.

I have talks for kids, adults, and both. I tailor my talks to my audience, planning in advance with the event coordinator as to the needs of the group.
My school talk is considered a mini-lesson on historical fiction writing as well as information about my book.

No, at this time there is no fee. I just love to share my love of Texas history.

I love to bring props! In our modern lives we sometimes have trouble envisioning what the world would have looked like in mid 1800 Texas. I usually bring a trunk full of treasures from the past.
I also have a google slide show and can cast it from my computer to a smart board or monitor.

I can talk anywhere from 20 minutes to 1 hour depending on your time allowance. I always save time at the end of Q&A.
